Born in 1952, Xavier Mignon discovers poetry at the age of 6, through "Le petit prince" of Saint Exupéry, and photography at 8 years old, and creates the photo club of each school and lycée he attends.

He transmits  his vision of a poet through photography: transcended by light, nature reveals to us his hidden beauties, which the photographer captures the instant, to render it to eternity.

The poet presented his first audiovisual montages at the Festival Off d'Avignon in 1978, after having exhibited his photographs in galleries in Paris and Versailles.

He published in French 12 books : translations from english, ancien grec and hebrew, and essays on metaphysics and Alchemy.
